Landowners and Land Wanted

We are looking for 100s hectares of land for more Warren Forestry joint ventures. These could be for investor partnerships, as before or for other investors interested in the long term and willing to be the investor party. In either case they will be the same as our existing JVs, i.e. they will be good quality forests created and managed by us for both parties.

We are particularly interested in properties where we can plant several sites, as we have done on Glens of Tekoa, Leslie Hills and Chimney Creek.

Landowners can now expect to get an income from a joint venture forest. There can be carbon credit income, and some rent income may be possible, as well as a share of the crop. One can tailor the makeup of the landowner share of the joint venture to suit the parties as well as the site. The best sites can warrant a package equaling up to 30% of timber and carbon for simply providing the land, fencing and existing access. The investor pays all costs.

As an example, a good forest site that may not produce anything much for you currently, could provide you with $100 rent, $100 carbon credits and $100 forest value, per hectare per annum.

Take a look at our Joint Ventures -- Pros and Cons for Landowners (PDF).

Below are some ‘before and after’ shots of land we have planted for farms in our joint ventures.
NB: None of these have resulted in the loss of stock units. Indeed the opposite is true, as the farms have then concentrated their time and money on their good grazing land.
